DJI Virtual Flight for iPhone

I went from fumbling around to doing figure-eights in under 15 minutes. And the tracks? They’re set in places like a mountain trail and an abandoned factory - all rendered with decent detail. Not Pixar-level, but enough to make you forget you’re indoors. I even caught myself leaning forward when diving into a valley. Realistic enough to be useful.

The not-so-good

It only works with specific DJI gear - FPV Goggles V2, Remote Controller 2, or Motion Controller. If you don’t have those, this app is useless. Also, it’s not free. And yeah, it’s only on iPhone, which limits who can use it. There’s no multiplayer, no custom maps, no progression system. Just straight-up training. Might get boring after a few sessions. And the app doesn’t do much beyond flight simulation - no camera tricks, no altitude hold, nothing fancy. You’re just flying. Which is fine if that’s what you want, but don’t expect more.

Bottom line

If you own DJI FPV gear and want to practice before taking off for real, this is a solid tool. It’s not the most exciting thing ever, but it’s functional and honest. Download it if you’re serious about learning FPV flying. But if you’re just curious or don’t have the right hardware, skip it. It’s not worth the hassle otherwise.
