The good stuff

The moment I launched it, I was grinning. The Minions are everywhere-screaming, stealing items, building weird contraptions. The Vicious 6 fights are actually kind of fun, especially when the Minions start flinging rocks at them like they’re in a cartoon. And the skins? There are 29 different ones from the movies-like Kevin, Stuart, and even the baby Minion. I spent way too long trying all the outfits just to see which one made me look most ridiculous. The level design feels tight and purposeful, not like some random fan-made map. You’re not just mining and crafting-you’re chasing Gru through his lair, solving simple puzzles, and generally causing mayhem. It’s short, but it holds your attention.

The not-so-good

It’s not really a standalone game, so don’t expect hours of content. Once you beat the main story, there’s not much left. Also, no multiplayer. That’s a bummer if you were hoping to play with friends. The controls are basic, and it doesn’t do anything new mechanically-still just Minecraft under the hood. And yeah, the developer’s unknown, which makes me wonder about updates or support. But honestly, it’s fine for what it is. Just don’t go in expecting a full sandbox experience.
