The good stuff

Here’s the catch: you need a Zenchef subscription to use this at all. The plugin doesn’t do anything on its own - it’s just a bridge to their service. So if you’re not already using Zenchef, this isn’t a free solution. Also, customization is limited. You can tweak colors and size, but nothing deeper like changing field order or adding custom prompts. If you want something more flexible, you might want to look at a booking plugin like Bookly or Amelia instead. And yeah, it’s a little weird that there’s no official developer info or downloads count - feels a bit ghosted, like it’s an afterthought.

Bottom line

If you’re already using Zenchef for reservations, this plugin is worth installing. It keeps bookings on your site, which helps with conversion. But if you’re not already on Zenchef, don’t bother. It’s not a standalone tool. And since it’s not open source or widely known, don’t expect tons of support or updates. Bottom line: only grab it if you’re locked into Zenchef already. Otherwise, there are better options out there.
